Our Objectives

(1) To promote the health, well-being and education of the inhabitants of South London through the provision of affordable and accessible fitness facilities, training and education programmes for people of all ages.

(2) To improve the conditions of life of people with a physical disability through access to exercise facilities that provide specially adapted equipment; to improve the conditions of life of people with a mental disability through access to exercise facilities and trained mentors.

(3) To tackle childhood obesity in the 7-15 age range through the provision of sports facilities and exercise classes for children and young people that develop a sporting habit for life.

(4) To support socially disadvantaged groups, including Young Offenders, through purposeful and enjoyable exercise and the provision of education and training in Personal Fitness; to offer an internationally-recognised qualification in Personal Fitness Training throughout the United Kingdom.

(5) To assist those with limited financial means of support through the provision of subsidised exercise programmes and facilities.

(6) To help elderly people to cope with encroaching stiffness and immobility through participation in heathy recreation and exercise classes designed around their needs.
